Discussions from this evening session [at the Central Library, Panjim meeting]: (i) Longish discussion on Wiktionary issue... Isidore raised queries, with some answers from Denzil. Incl possibilities of getting Isidore's dictionary online (e.g. via Wiktionary, one alphabet at a time). Searching for words online... KonkaniWordNet, etc (ii) Suggestions on what topics could be suitable for Goa Wikipedia volunteers to focus on ... (iii) Issue of the need to digitise local records, share online, approach libraries, etc (iv) Requests to convince willing authors to share their books via Wikibooks (v) Networking with earlier volunteers, and inviting them back (vi) Following-up on Konkanverter and improvement issues; Harriette offered to follow-up (vii) Asking Konkanverter Team to see if they could make their engine work with Konkani Wikipedia to allow a see-this-page-in-XXX style solution... among others. (viii) Taking forward plans for form a Wikipedians of Goa User Group, and inviting everyone with 300+ edits to be part of the sign-up team.. Since I was not taking notes, but caught up with the video link, I could have missed something...

DENZIL ADDED THIS POINTː The point about Isidore's dictionary was whether we can have a bot to automate the process of creating Wiki-entries from the document, rather than we having to enter in all the entries manually.
